Thermage FLX Tips
Thermage FLX tips are single-use monopolar RF treatment tips designed for use with the current-generation Solta Medical Thermage FLX system. Pinova carries two FLX tip configurations, including the flagship Total Tip 4.0 cm² used in standard facial FLX protocols. Every tip ships from our US warehouse, with the manufacturer expiration date and pulse count shown on each product page before purchase, and international shipping is available on request.
About Thermage FLX tips
Thermage FLX tips are single-use monopolar RF treatment tips designed for use with Solta Medical's current-generation Thermage FLX system. FLX succeeded the earlier Thermage CPT generation and added AccuREP impedance matching, which adjusts energy delivery in real time and shortens overall treatment time compared to CPT. Each tip delivers monopolar radiofrequency energy through a flat treatment surface with no needles, and has a defined pulse count printed on the cartridge. FLX tips sit within our broader Thermage tips collection, which also covers earlier-generation CPT consumables.
What's included in this collection
This collection covers two Thermage FLX tip configurations, including the AccuREP-enabled Total Tip 4.0 cm² used in standard FLX facial protocols and a smaller FLX tip used for periorbital and tighter-area treatments. The Total Tip 4.0 is the most commonly ordered FLX consumable, designed for full-face FLX workflows that benefit from the platform's faster treatment time.
Compatibility
All tips in this collection are designed for use with Thermage FLX-generation systems only. FLX tips will not function on the earlier Thermage CPT consoles — the two generations use different handshake and impedance protocols. If your console is CPT rather than FLX, see our Thermage CPT tips collection instead. Each product page lists the exact cm² treatment area and pulse rating. Compatibility data reflects standard clinical use and supplier specifications; verify against your specific Thermage system generation before ordering.
Thermage FLX tip comparison
The two FLX tips differ in treatment area and protocol use case.
| Tip | Treatment area | Best for | Compatible system |
|---|---|---|---|
| FLX Total Tip 4.0 | 4.0 cm² with AccuREP impedance matching | Full-face FLX protocols, fastest standard treatment time | Thermage FLX |
| FLX Smaller Tip | Smaller treatment area | Periorbital and tighter-area FLX protocols | Thermage FLX |
How to choose Thermage FLX tips
Two factors to confirm before ordering:
- Console generation: Verify your Thermage console is FLX, not CPT. Look at the front-panel branding or the device label — FLX consoles are marked accordingly. CPT tips will not run on FLX hardware and vice versa.
- Protocol mix: The Total Tip 4.0 covers most full-face workflows and is usually the higher-volume order. Practices running periorbital protocols also need the smaller tip in stock.
Why buy from Pinova
Every Thermage FLX tip in this collection is professionally sourced and ships in its original sealed packaging. The expiration date, lot code, and rated pulse count are listed on each product page before checkout. Orders placed before 2 PM EST typically ship the same business day from our US warehouse, with international shipping available on request.
Frequently asked questions
Are these genuine Solta Medical Thermage FLX tips?
Genuine/original status is verified per SKU and shown on each product page. All Thermage FLX tips Pinova sells are professionally sourced consumables, with packaging condition, expiration date, and pulse rating visible before checkout. Where a product is OEM-style rather than Solta-original, this is clearly indicated on the product page.
What is AccuREP and why does FLX have it?
AccuREP is Solta's impedance-matching technology built into the Thermage FLX generation. The system reads tissue impedance in real time and adjusts RF energy delivery accordingly, which shortens treatment time compared to the earlier CPT generation while keeping the same energy goals. AccuREP is only present on FLX tips and consoles.
Can FLX tips be used on a Thermage CPT system?
No. FLX tips use the AccuREP impedance handshake, which the CPT system does not support. Cross-substitution will not seat or run. If you operate a CPT console, order from the Thermage CPT tips collection instead.
